Within the framework of his visit, Dr. Mohamed AYARI, president of the Tunisian Association of Digital Geographic Information and president of the Euro-Arab Union of Geomatics, paid a visit to the University of Takrit where he met the president of the university, Dr. Mzahem Alkayat. They discussed the methods of scientific cooperation between the association and the university in addition to signing a cooperation convention about trainings, scientific publications, cooperative organization of scientific congresses and scientific research and the organization of a scientific congress at the end of the year 2013 at the University of Takrit.
During his visit, the president of the association met the university deans and professors while checking the ongoing of the scientific activities. He also met the dean and the professors of the faculty of arts where he visited the department of geography, met the head of the department and the scientific crew and checked the programs taught at the faculty.
The president of the association met the association coordinator in Iraq Dr. Rukaya Alani to discuss the methods of enhancing the association and the union’s scientific presence in Iraq.
